I can open an image from RPG using STRPCO & STRPCCMD using "start."
But, as Scott has pointed out, that blinks the DOS command prompt window
open and seems kinda cheesy.
So... I got all excited and decided to use rundll32, as has been
recommended.
Doesn't work. Obviously I am doing something idiotic.
Lets suppose I have an image:
c:\Users\Sam\Pictures\Halloween\Anatomy.jpg
I want that image to open with whatever program the user has associated
with .jpg extensions. What is the STRPCCMD command? What obvious thing
am I missing?
Another thing that worried me: rundll32 sounds like it is for 32 bit
machines and Windows 7 runs on 64 bit. Are we looking at a scenario
where in a few years rundll32 will be as unsupported, just as 16 bit
stuff is today?
