Ok! That was it although I could have sworn the compile listing ended at line 201. But, no, the compile has 326 lines in it. And, when I bring up the program in debug it dies at line 150 in the *source* listing that is displayed. So, I learned something new today. I always assumed that the source would match the debug but Vern mentioned the *type* of view with F15 which I hadn't paid attention to. The type of view affects what you see in the debug.

Thanks! (you too Vern)

Pete,

Sounds like they don't have option(*SRCSTMT)

Look for a line 238 on the compile listing..

I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have a program that fails with
a decimal data error at line 238 of the program. I am doing consulting
work at this company so I am not familiar with the program. So, I
opened up the source member and there IS no line 238 in the source. So,
I ran it in debug and the debug shows no statement 238 (ends at 201).

I double checked the program reference and there isn't another instance
of this program on the system. So I compiled the program into another
library and looked at the compile and then ran the compiled program in
debug. No line 238! (ends at 201)

So I can only assume that the source for the program has been lost or
moved since it was originally compiled (2 years ago). Is that
assumption correct or did I overlook something obvious?
