After consideration: The *PSSR would catch the original exception before percolation to the control boundary. However, the call stack is trashed if the exception occurred in a program/procedure at a lower level and the condition manager is still pissed so recovery to the state just prior to the exception is difficult if not impossible. This would also occur with a monitor or e extender on a callp.
