I have the dubious honor of trying to modify barcodes in an old RPG program that
uses "O" specs with what looks to be printer control codes. For example, the
following produces an EAN barcode containing the Item#:

C MOVE X'03011B' CNTCHR 3

O E BARCOD
O CNTCHR
O 'H0620'
O CNTCHR
O 'V0045'
O CNTCHR
O 'D3020350'
O item#

My problem is I have no idea what the printer specifications are for the barcode
line (the line outputting the "D3". I see other code that inserts ">G" and ">C"
(etc.) characters into the barcode string to direct the barcode. Can anyone
direct me to some documentation that might help explain what the heck I need to
do to make this a 128B barcode (containing both alpha and numerics)?

And No, I cannot using the DDS BARCODE keyword as this is no an IPDS printer. I
must drive the printer vai "O" specs and control codes.
