Life is an uncertain thing.

IBM is already using long names beginning with SQL for constants in the world of SQL CLI. I wouldn't be surprised if yours conflict some day. Embedded SQL also uses both variables and constants that begin with SQL, and could potentially some day break compatibility in embedded as well. As I said, life is uncertain.

Though, I've probably made the same mistake somewhere over the years. I think I'll wait until it breaks something before I fix it.
