That's one of the problems with in-line documentation: They often do not get updated. Fix it any way you want, but adjust (delete?) the comment to fit the truth.
Personally, if subroutine ABC000 is nothing more than a CALL/PARM scenario, I'd whack the whole subroutine and prototype it here. If there's more to the subroutine, I'd prototype it there.
