What is distracting me is that the cursor bounces from column to column,

Why do you say that? Seems to me this is exactly what it's for.

Any idea how to get the cursor to flow with the records?.

With SFLLIN the records are loaded down the screen thus:

01 06
02 07
03 08
04 09
05

Without SFLCSRPRG the cursor will move from 01 to 06 to 02 to 07 to 03 and so on. With SFLCSRPRG the cursor will move from 01 to 02 to 03 to 04 to 05 to 06 to 07 etc. which seems exactly what you want.
