Presumably the command string was sent to QCMDEXC, but no matter. An option is to use the QMHSNDM (Send NonProgram Message) API instead of generating and then asking the CL command processor to interpret, a CL command string.

There is also the Send Message (QEZSNDMG) API which may be of interest instead.

When I build a SNDMSG command and I pass it to QCMD the user

¿Can I send the message "directly", so the F9 will tell me which
PRG program that has send it?
