I mistakenly coded %Error() (with parenthesis) rather than just %Error.
I
was surprised when there was no compile error. I checked the RPG
manual and
%Error() was not found. I also checked the list archives but couldn't
find
this specific question.

%ERROR is the only BIF I can think of that has no parameters. My thinking
has always been that the syntax checker allows () on any %BIF whether
they're needed or not. I usually (almost always) code this as %Error(). (I
don't if I'm working on a program/module where it's already coded without.)
But maybe that's not so good.

I'm very curious to see what others might have to say on this.
