Are you saying you have a character string that contains the hexadecimal representation of the binary value? I would use cvthc or cvtch - I forget which is which - to convert to an integer variable. It's rather simple. Might need some padding with zeroes and all - depends on what your source really is.

But I'm not sure what is what in your question - sorry!! :-)
