Wait? What? I'm missing this. Isn't the first day of the year ALWAYS
January 1st?

Or are you trying to calculate what DAY (mon, tue, wed, etc..) the 1st fell
on for that year?

If not, I don't understand why you need a calculation at all. Why not
just concatenate the year onto 01.01.?

Subject: 1st day of any year

Hi,

I need the first day of the year which will be passed a string of length 4.
I think this will work :

MyDate = %DATE ( '01.01.' + yearPassed : *EUR );

But I will still need to test in case yearPassed isn't right.

Is there an easier way or less messy one?

Thanks
