Some people would point out that using LEAVE violates a programming
rule
(since it's really just a GOTO in disguise). I wouldn't necessarily
agree
with them, though. Rules, schmules.

That's a GOTO in disguise, but an EXSR that never returns to me is - ummm
I'm having a hard time here. Can you help? What is the correct term for
that? And see my prior post. SELECT / WHEN / WHEN / WHEN / OTHER contains
a series of GOTOs. ENDDO / ENDFOR contains a GOTO at its end (DOW has one
at the beginning). Why anyone would pick on one statement and say, "That's
a GOTO" and ignore all the others is ... well, laughable. Or ignorant,
which is less funny.

Yes, that's what I envisioned.

If you think the maintainer doesn't need to look at your entire structure to
determine whether additional code will be executed, then you need to restudy
your code.

But as you say... a style is a style. You don't have to like mine either.
