I like this.
Since the creation of a second team of developpement personnel in our service, we have been divided in two and we tend to refer to these two teams as the <old-tech> and the <new-tech>. From now on, I am going to insist on calling the first team (to which I belong) as <original-tech>.

You're only partly right about the "politically correct" bit
Simon - there was another issue. If if it stayed Old Program
Model - what would we call any replacement for New Program Model?

New Improved Program Model?
