Method B is the right one - The fact that you are in asubproc doesn't remoove the need to have the specs in the right order - so F goes before D as normal.

Your problem is that you are trying to declare an input primary file (I think - haven't used one in decades) and you can't do that. There's no cycle in the subprocedure so when would it be processed? It has to be full procedural.

And all that assumes that you are on the 6.1 release.
