It's me again and this time I have a problem that has me completely
mystified!!

In my program to read the XML file, it successfully gathers the data but
when it writes it out, it fails to write the first two fields and leaves
*zeros in them.

I have tried everything I can think of. I even turned on *DEBUGIO and
set a break point at the first field in the O specs and displayed the
value of that field, which was non-zero, of course. But when I examined
the file after the program completed, the value of that field was *zero.

Has anyone else had this problem? What could cause this? And what can I
do to fix it.

From the border crossing to insanity,

Marvin
