If CL-Program and the SQLRPGLE program run in the same activation group, SQL
uses the overridden files.
If you specify in your OVRDBF command the override scope is set to *CALLLVL
or *JOB, SQL uses the overridden files (independent in which activation
group the CL and the SQLRPGLE program run).
The overrides will not be considered, if you use in the override command the
default for the override scope (i.e. *ACTGRP).

Overrides may not be considered if you are using SQL-Naming within your
SQLRPGLE-program.

Betreff: Re: overrides for SQL

Probably a novice question;.

Do library overrides in CLP work for an SQLRPGLE pgm using sql selection,
or will I have to create a variable pointing to the correct library?
