It would be easy for me to blurt out a direct answer to a direct question. But what fun is that? How about using Option 18 of the WRKJOB command to monitor the creation and destruction of activation groups when calling and returning from PGM B?

Nathan.

Subject: RPG compiled with ACTGRP(*NEW)

Hi,

PGM A compiled with ACTGRP(A) calls PGM B compiled with ACTGRP(*NEW);

Does *INLR have to be *ON in PGM B so that its activation group disappears on returning to PGM A?
IF it ends with RETURN, is the activation group still alive?

Thanks.
