OK, I'm asking - why is there even one "AND" in the statement?

There's only one way to expand your knowledge... That is to ask. There
will be able 8 ands in the if statement in total. Just trying to clean

What's "nasty" about

If status = 1 or status = 3 or status = 5 or status = 7 or status =

?

I suppose a "shortcut" would be to write an array and do a lookup.

if %Lookup(status : StatusArray ) > 0 ;

I am getting ready to write a nasty if statement and had a thought.

there a shortcut for this?"

Is there something similar to the IN statement in SQL but for an
RPG IF
statement? In SQL I could say WHERE STATUS IN (1, 3, 5, 7, 9). Is
there
something similar for an RPG IF?
