I always find TIOBE a good place to watch. I commented about RPG's place in TIOBE back in August of last year:

I noted that RPG was consistently in the top 25. However, it was always in the 21-25 group and last month slipped to 26; the jump to 18th is quite interesting. I'll be waiting to see if this is a trend or a blip.
