I'm just a newbie at this so someone will probably correct my understanding, but I loaded a plug-in on Firefox called NewsFox that is a newsreader. Newsfox allows me to tell it what RSS feeds I want monitored and show the subjects in a window or tab in Firefox. Then I can read the headlines and click on the ones that interest me.
Many sites now show an RSS button to subscribe to their feed. It seems like David Gibbs also had to add me to a list for RSS feeds.
This post in the archives has some information

and David would be happy to answer questions also http://www.midrange.com/

Or use the RSS feed for Midrange-L.
Makes it easier to ignore what you're not interested in or can't take time
for.

Tom,

If you have not already done so, I suggest subscribing to the Midrange-L
list. There have been and are a lot of SQL discussions that are not RPG
specific, that may be of benefit to you. Either subscribe, or search the
archives.

I just subscribed to this today, I cannot believe I did not do it earlier.
I am sure I will have more questions as I progress in SQL.
We are getting into VB.NET heavy here, and the owner wants me to study it
more,
but our bread and butter is still RPG. So the bulk of my day is RPG.
I want to get SQL into my RPG so that I can do my daily job and still
learn
SQL.
