Are you looking for nifty in terms of clever? Business needs? Scope?
All the RPG I write is RPGLE and /free. I've written systems to
communicate with web site front ends for data loading and order
fulfillment. Tons of good code. I've used APIs created by IBM or Scott
to work with lists of data and stream files and things like that.

My point is that RPGLE has been around for 10+ years - all new
development is probably (should be) in RPGLE,. and probably /free,
though that's more of a style choice than a function choice.

Check out the magazines and web sites like this and you can probably
find tons of examples of well written code.

Adam,

Did you get any proper responses to this?
