Well, as far at the DSPF36 is concerned, I seem to recall that simply
compiling the DSPF36 causes a native object source member to be
produced, which is then compiled as a native DSPF object. All you need
to do is find the converted source (in QTEMP, I think) and save it.

The RPG36 will often convert to RPG/400 with only minor fixes. I
remember having to convert WORKSTN files in particular... Something
about Combined IO, Primary.... This was 18 years ago....

Eric

Not that I shy away from from such a challenge, but anything to save
time.
One printout from PDM is 4 pages long of DSPF36 and RPG36 programs (with
some other RPG scattered within).

You won't like what it does to the code. A project like this
should depend upon the amount of code to convert and what your target
is... are you wanting to end up with true ILE or just RPGII converted
to RPGIII and then run thru CVTRPGSRC and compiled.

I was told it existed in school but was lead to believe it no longer
existed. I am now looking at some old RPG36 and OCL36 code and need
to
"modernize it". Is there a tool to help convert it to RPG or RPGLE
code
similar to CVTRPGSRC?
