I am trying to use memcpy in a procedure to copy data from one field to another. Ultimately I want to move data from a parameter into a work field that is written to the IFS. I have been struggling with this since midday yesterday without any success. I have googled MCH0601 and memcpy as well as searching the archives. As yet, I don't see what I am doing wrong. My latest attempt was to remove all the complexity, create two test fields, and simply use memcpy to copy the data from one to another all within a single procedure. It still isn't working. I have included the appropriate code below for reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

d CopyData pr * ExtProc('memcpy')
d * Value
d * Value
d 10u 0 Const

d TestTarget s 256a
d TestSource s 14a Inz('testing memcpy')

CopyData(%Addr(TestTarget) :%Addr(TestSource) :%Len(TestSource));
