Hi All,

With the advent of localized files in Procedures, I expected to be able to
define a display file within a procedure and create a generic 'Error Dialog'
procedure that could be used from multiple apps.

Adding the file is easy, just do your P-spec, F-spec, D-spec. Getting a
clean compile is a bear though.

I get error messages that I must use a Result Data Structure. I declared
one, and it seems ok on the EXFMT, but trying to use subfile WRITEs is
another matter. If there is no Result DS, you get the error that one is
required. If you put a Result DS, then you get an error that you cannot use
a Result DS.

Maybe Display Files cannot live in a procedure after all? Moving the file
to the top of the service program works, but it is not at cool :)

Or am I just missing something?

Thanks!
JD
