You don't have to test hundreds of other programs if you make the newest
parm be the last parm and make it OPTION(*NOPASS). Then code to so that
the parm is used only when passed.

Sounds like a great campaign slogan. I can't stand programs that pass
'parms' via the LDA. Drives me nuts....

Can somebody point me in the direction of an example of two ILE RPG
programs, neither of which calls the other, communicating with each
other via the Local Data Area?

Preferably without doing an IN on all *DTAARAs known to the program?

When I RTFM on this one, all it does is make me go cross-eyed.
