I don't have a real answer for you, other than removing the message from the joblog; but I'd be
willing to bet IBM wouldn't call it a bug. Simply because as you know, running ILE programs in the
default activation group (especially when RCLRSC is being used) is a big no-no.

I think the right answer is to get the client to re-think the use of the named activation group.

- A named activation group is tailor made for adding functionality without changing existing code
since it provides separation within the job. Not only does it provide the separation you need today
but the separation will continue in the future.

- Obviously your software is doing something different; otherwise he could have stuck with the old.
Was the old stuff OPM or RPG IV with DFTACTGRP(*YES)? In either case, providing that functionality in
a modern, easy to maintain format means you need to use ILE.
