Hi,

Using the C functions for regular expressions in RPG, I noticed that only some of the expressions work.

For example the \w and \s seems to compile fine, but it always fails on the actual compare ?

I expected that patterns as described on http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/systems/topic/rzaie/rzaieregexpnot.htm would work, but this doesn’t seem to be the case (or am I doing something wrong) ?

Are there different regular expression dialects, and which one is being used in the C functions ?

Kind regards,
Paul
