So what we've basically come up with is this:

1. If you are likely to copy a code fragment and change the file being
accessed, you're better off *not* qualifying the %found and %eof, in case
you forget to change the qualification-file-name

2. If you are likely to add intermediate code between the file access and
the %found or %eof, you're better off qualifying the %found and %eof, to
avoid file-clashes.

So really, neither is *better* than the other - it just depends on how you
think you might use the code in future... Hmmm... reminds me of the
'subprocedures vs. subroutines' war :-)

With that, I'm using Gmail's 'mute' functionality on this thread.
