You could use a SPECIAL FILE in RPG. Then, whenever you READ from or WRITE to the special file, the special file "exit program" is called. Your exit program could then read from or write to the actual file, and then do whatever else you want to do.

Is there anyway of invoking a procedure automatically each time a write/update is done on the file in the module without putting a trigger on the file ?
