I have to ask, If the RUNSQLSTM is blazingly fast, and, IF it achieves
the desired result, then why use a cursor loop, or an RPG read? Why not
either use the RUNSQLSTM in production, or, imbed the statement used in
the RUNSQLSTM into the RPG program instead of the cursor loop?

I do suggest reading the suggested reading by Birgitta.
