I've been able to successfully do a block fetch into a DIM-ed data
structure on V5R4, so I'm not sure why yours isn't working.

Which error message are you getting? (post the msgid, please)

Anybody got any idea why this would not work? We are at V5R4 and it is
my understanding that multiple dimension array for an SQL statement can
either be an OCCURS or a DIM but the DIM does not compile.
This will not compile. The pre-compiler throws it out as an invalid data

structure.

Oh, that's cute. All I did was change the Occurs back to Dim and now it
compiles. Nothing else changed.

There are days I really hate the SQL Pre-Compiler.

All I did before was change the Dim to Occur and it compiled. Now I
change it back to Dim and it works. Very strange.

Anyway, now it works. Thanks for the help Scott.
