Re: Another Question about DIV and MVR

Whenever I have to use %div( ) and/or %rem( ) with decimals, such as pricing, I always multiple both the dividend and divisor by an appropriate value (such as 100) and use those values. Just remember that both sides of the formula must be multiplied by the same factor. For example:

45.7 / 13.33 = 3.42...

Multiplying by 10 and 100, respectively, before the division results in .342, which is incorrect.

Multiplying both sides by 100 (4570 / 1333) still yields 3.42...
