How about the KISS when coding principle or document the heck out of it if
it requires some rather pat yourself on the back that was really a neat bit
of code logic.
In fact the whole area of spending a little extra time in documenting so
when you win the lottery and take up coconut growing in the tropics, some
poor sod after you has to figure out what the heck were you doing when they
need to maintain your code. Or maybe you don't win the lottery and you need
to look at some program you did and your that poor sod.....
