As you wish.... but I am not sure what the claimed "this type of scenario" is, that CmtCtl was supposed to have been /protecting from/. What is given, does not necessarily indicate any problem with commitment control. Only a perceived problem is represented, based on a lack of understanding of what some journal entries might mean.

If the effect of the transaction is correct and the same effect is obtained when those entries are applied, what is made visible in the journal is moot. Note that the journal entry doc suggests the R-BR entry is ignored for apply:
