Even easier if you're debugging in WDSCi, place you cursor on the line after the read, right click and
select "Run to Location"

I don't know if there is an equivalent for older versions, but you could
use a trick: right after a READ, or CHAIN operation, you add a
breakpoint and, when you get to READ operation, you hit F12...
