I am looking for a solution in RPGLE.
I know about the RTVJOBA command, but do not want to add to the complexity by having a CLLE module for just this purpose.
Most of the staff here do not understand Service Programs, let alone bound modules that are of mixed languages, and I was told to "keep it simple".

Thanks,

Hi Jeff,

You can use the command RTVJOBA with the parm TYPE. If TYPE = '1', then
interactive, else if '0', batch.

Thanx,

Nick

How to get job type (Batch / Interactive)

All -
I am having a senior moment here.
In RPG IV, how do I determine if a program is running in a batch job or
interactive?

TIA,
