Excellent. Or you could show them an interactive program that uses The Cycle as its event-loop, with LR tied to KC and/or KL, and ask them whether it will run once, or run until the user presses the appropriate function key. Or you could show them a program that checks some field in its primary file, and changes "FOO" to "BAR," and ask them what it does.

But explaining the "unable to figure out how the program will end" compilation message is definitely better than my alternatives, if you could only use one.
