That's an excellent idea. In fact you could do a:
CRTDUPOBJ OBJ(WRKACTJOB)
FROMLIB(QSYS)
OBJTYPE(*CMD)
TOLIB(QTEMP)
NEWOBJ(WMSGJOB)
CHGCMDDFT CMD(WMSGJOB) NEWDFT('SEQ(*STS)')

Then when they type in WMSGJOB it brings it up in that sequence.
Then submit a DCR to add a STS parameter with a default of *ALL much like
the command has:
Subsystem . . . . . . . . . . . SBS *ALL
CPU percent limit . . . . . . . CPUPCTLMT *NONE
Response time limit . . . . . . RSPLMT *NONE
Job name . . . . . . . . . . . . JOB *ALL

Then it would be even easier to create your WMSGJOB.
