Good afternoon,

So, after putting some other eyes on my previous attempts to connect, we
found that the name of the driver was improperly capitalized. So, I'm
an idiot.

Anyway, now I'm getting this error:

[error]

Nov 1, 2007 2:39:48 PM com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.TDSChannel enableSSL
WARNING: TDSChannel ( ConnectionID:1 TransactionID:0x0000000000000000)
SSL handshake failed: null
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The driver could not
establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: null

[/error]

I understand that this is telling me that the SystemI is expecting SSL
and the SQL Server doesn't have that activated. Do I HAVE to use SSL
when connecting to the SQL Server or is there some way to disable SSL on
the i5/OS side?

Thank you,
Chris Anderson
