I think you are right. I believe you are okay to define a field twice in a
display file. however, he has defined twice where only the second define
has the indicators associated with it. It could also be that he mistakenly
copied that line twice when creating the code page for us to view. :-)

I am missing something basic, I think. What is it?

Are lines 14 and 15 really the same in your DDS? I'm not sure what
happens if you define a field twice, but it can't be good (though I
assume the compiler would yell at you).

Does the problem occur for all of the potentially hidden fields, or just
the one? If one, which one is the problem?
