Eric,

Thanks for the reply. I have already explored that parameter. I was
thinking of parameter/input switch within the STRPCCMD PCCMD string to
close the Adobe Reader window.

Nick

There is a parm on the STRPCCMD called PAUSE() which normally defaults to
*YES. This makes the dos window remain open...

Subject: STRPCCMD and AcroRd32 Questions

Thanks to this list and a thread from October 2004, I was able to use the
STRPCCMD to print a PDF document using the input switches of /p and /h. I
am using the following the STRPCCMD PCCMD parameter: start acrord32.exe /p
/h i:\documentname.pdf.

The Adobe Reader will open up the document and print it just fine.
However, the application window stays open.

Is there another input switch I can use in the command to close the
application when finished printing?

Also, could anyone point me toward a reference of sorts to input switches?

Thank you in advance.

Nick W. Mart
