I didn't go to the link, but the few times I have a subR inside a subProc, it's because it's code that will never be used anywhere else, but is invoked multiple times within the procedure. Sounds like a matter of personal style.

In yet another post, you alluded to initialize / cleanup subroutines that get put in 90% of the subprocedures you write. What is the benefit of using subroutines in that situation as opposed to subprocedures?
