sounds dense. What programming problem are you trying to solve? Use a
data area in your program (like to get the last invoice number used?)
RPG Reference, D-specification keyword DTAARA() (there are other ways)
Automatically have the compiler supply a Header-specification based on a
pre-defined data area? RPG Reference, chapter 13 Something else?
