This is where I differ... lets face it, not many punks my age (27) are doing
RPG development. Heck there are programs older than me on our system right
now. Free-Format and separating I/O logic is a step towards what the Java
and .NET developers are doing today. If they had to jump into an RPG program
because the only RPG programmer just got fired or quit or worse, they would
have a better chance of understanding the subprocedure calls vs. CHAIN,
SETLL, and READE ("what the hell is this?").

Is this a logical step? I really don't know. I know what is easiest for a
RPG programmer, but I am also trying to look into the future of what if.
