Are you referencing the *IN array? I don't think *INKL is in there,
but there may be something going on with it.

Yep - that is where this all began. Before the chain, *INKL is off. As
soon as the chain executes, *INKL is turned on.

As has been mentioned a couple of times so far, it may in fact be that the
memory location holding *INKL is somehow being overwritten. Just cannot
seem to figure out how or by what :)
