Hi,

The magic word is prototyping.
You need a procedure interface that replaces the *ENTRY PLIST
And a prototype that is an exact match of the procedure interface and
that
must be embedded in the programm and in each module from which the
program
will be called:

Prototype:
D MyPGM PR EXTPGM('MYPGM)
D Par1 10A
D Par2 Like(Field2)

Procedure Interface
D MyPgm PI
D Par1 10A
D Par2 Like(Field2)

Call in free format:
/Free
MyPGM(MyPar1: MyPar2);

/End-Free

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Betreff: PLIST in free form

Afternoon all
At the moment I'm having trouble with the internet so I am hoping someone
can help me out Now that we are on V5R4, I have finally decided to hold
my
nose and jump into using free-form. I am sure that I have seen a way to
introduce parameters into a program without using PLIST

Thanks in advance
