That's what I figured, Joe, but it's nice to have confirmation. Plus, I never came across the STATIC keyword, but I can see situations where that would be useful. Another bullet in the holster.

The INZ keyword gets invoked every time you go into the procedure UNLESS you
specify the STATIC keyword. If you specify STATIC, the INZ only gets
invoked once (and the field retains its value between calls).
