Thanks for your reply Leif
I've posted that web-site into my favorites for future reference
What I ended up doing in this instance was simply cut & paste the symbol
from the web into the programs.
Wherever I needed to change the currency symbol from $ to £, I also had to
include the following in the H-specs

H CURSYM('£')

in case anyone else needs to change the currency symbol

Alan,

Next time you (and others) need at spec. character, you can use this
link - even with
a little program to show 'em.

Kevin - God bless you
Sometimes I outthink myself, or in this case don't think clearly enough.
Never thought of cut and paste.
The paste works. Just need to test it to see if it works

Again - thanks Kevin
Heres a quid for ya

Are you using client access? Just cut and paste it from somewhere on
the web? If not - it's hex B1.

Thanks for your response Michael, however that's not what I am looking
for,
I just need to print the pond sign as a column header, but as it is not
on
the US keyboard, I am at a loss.

Use the third parameter...

%EDITC(numeric : editcode {: *ASTFILL | *CURSYM | currency-symbol})

%editc(numeric:'J':'?')

Not sure what you'll use, but that what you can do.

Hi everyone.
Hopefully this is one of those questions that somebody somewhere is
going
to say
"That's so easy, why don't you know the answer to this"
Anyway, here goes.

I am producing a report that is going to be printed in the UK.
How can I get it to print the British "pond" (or Libra) sign
instead
of
the
'$'

Thanks in advance
