Hi Donna
to find the DISTINCT values of each of the 15 fields, it looks like you
will have to execute the select 15 different times with a different field
in each of the executions.
If you say
select DISTINCT field1, field2 from LIB/FILE
you will get a listing of the distinct groupings/combinations which is NOT
what I believe you are looking for

I have 15 fields in my file.
For one field
I can use SQL like
select DISTINCT field1 from LIB/FILE
How do I extend this SQL to find out distinct values of all 15 fields?

Thanks,

Donna.
