Like I said before
A LLLOOONNNGGG day
I did an OVRDBF to the PRODLIB/FILEA mbr (M26)
created the view
then DSPFD on the view and looked at the based on file and member. The
member says M01 and NOT M26 so it looks like the OVRDBF takes NO affect in
creating the view.

If you do ovrdbf to the file and member.

Create the View.

Delete the override.

The view will be over that member only.

You can verify this by doing dspfd and looking at the based on file and
member.
